Bimok Park that consoles unnamed soldiers soul
If you are a Korean you must have heart the song ‘Bimok’. Bimok Park which is beside the ‘Peace dam’ is a place where the song ‘Bimok’ was made. Composer of the song, Han Myung Hee was in military during 1960s. One day, he found a iron helmet on a stone tomb, so assuming the owner of the grave was a soldier just like him, he wrote a song named ‘Bimok’ On the entrance of Bimok park, lyric of the Bimok is written on a stone, you will also find tombs with iron helmets which recalls the painful memory and the sad lyrics of the song.
