Like any other time, spring this year brings blossoms to the village. How can winter migratory birds fly to this quiet, peaceful village each year? People here are happier with nature than perhaps any other people. DMZ presents ecological peace villages where people and nature blend well.

一到春天，花朵今年也如期找到了村庄。冬天的候鸟，每年如何找到这个平静而和平的村庄呢？因为与自然同在，比任何人更觉得幸福的人们。在DMZ有与自然一起生活的和平生态村

在美丽的自然梦想和平的村庄

The ecological peace village is the home of some of Korea’s natural treasures, otters and migratory birds, and where thousands of salmon trout live. The Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs (MOGAHA) has designated it as an ecological peace village to promote the border area’s ecosystems and long-preserved history and cultures. The ecological peace village program aims to develop tourist and income resources for the border area’s residential villages, to promote the profile of the region, and to ensure the region’s economic development and the improvement of the residents’ income and jobs. If it designates a village as an ecological peace village, it will create culture and arts spaces there or use the village’s clean ecological resources to create ecological spaces, and use its agricultural and fishing cultures and eco-friendly environments to create nature learning spaces for elementary and middle and high school students. Afterwards, the ecological peace village shall operate such facilities on its own. The ecological peace villages, with their amazing natural sceneries and quietness, are dreaming of peace-filled villages together full of their visitors’ laughter.

天然纪念品水貂与候鸟的栖息地，同时又有数千条山泉鱼栖息的‘和平生态村’。行政自治部为了宣传接境地区所环抱的自然生态以及长期保存对历史与文化，指定了‘和平生态村’。和平生态村事业以接境地区居住地村庄为对象，开发观光与所得资源，提高接境地区的形象，为了地区经济发展与住民所得与工作岗位创出而推行的事业。被选定为‘和平生态村’的地区，通过文化艺术空间的建设或生态、利用清净资源的生态主题空间与农渔村文化、利用亲自然环境等的小学·中学·高中学生的学习空间建设，以村庄的自治运营来形成。与美丽的自然一同生活的平静的和平生态村，梦想着与访客的欢笑声中充满和平的村庄。
