生六臣之一的的梅月堂金时习，心痛的忠贞渗透的地方
Maewoldae refers to a sharp cliff above 595m altitude of Bokgyesan Mountainin Geunnam-myeon, Cheorwon-gun. The name ‘Maewoldae’ has its origin from the known name of Kim SiSeup, one of the six officials’. In the early years of Joseon, Prince Suyang overthrew King Danjong- his nephew- and took the throne to himself. Kim SiSeup raged to this and deserted his place of a government official. It is said that he lurked here for a while after wandering.
梅月台指的是位于铁原郡近南面福桂山坡海拔595米山上的绝壁。‘梅月台’之名来自生六臣之一的的梅月堂金时习的号。朝鲜初期，首阳大君赶走自己的侄儿端宗，自己登上王位，金时习对此悲愤慷慨，遂丢掉官职到处流浪，后来在这里暂时隐居。
When you take the east direction from the peak of Maewoldae, you can find the cool water of Maewoldae Falls. As if it proves the long time of existence of the falls, green moss is covering the huge rocks where the water touches. Maewoldae Falls is the filming site of the dramas ‘Lim Ggeokjeong’ and ‘Deok-i’, and it is also popular as a tour spot of Cheorwon together with ‘Sambuyeon Falls’ and ‘Jiktang Falls’.
梅月台山顶东侧有个梅月台瀑布，倾泻着令人清爽的水柱。在瀑布的水柱流过的巨大岩石上，就好像证明瀑布度过的漫长岁月，布满绿色水苔。梅月台瀑布亦是电视剧‘林巨正’、‘德’的拍摄场所，与‘三釜渊瀑布’、‘直汤瀑布’一起成为铁原地区的名所。
