Merged with river and sea, largest natural lake river in East Sea, migratory birds surrounded by dense pine forest

江与海相遇的东海岸最大的天然湖水，郁郁苍苍的松林围绕的候鸟渡来地

 
In Goseong-gun, there are two lagoon created where the river downstream and sea meet. One is Songjiho Lake, and the other one is largest lake of East sea circumference about 16 Km, Hwajinpoho Lake. When the winter comes, lake looks golden field cause of reeds are all fall down on the lake and it seems like it. There was story about blind Kim Seon-Dal cheated and sold Hwajinpo Lake to Seoul wealthy that it is big space of field.

高城郡有江下口与大海相遇形成的两个潟湖。一个是松池湖，另一个是周长长达16公里的东海岸最大的天然湖-花津浦湖。湖水甚是广阔，每到冬季，湖水结冰，茂盛的芦苇倒下时，就像黄金田野，有个故事讲过去凤伊金先达欺骗首尔富人说是广阔的平野，向富人卖掉花津浦湖。

Hwajinpo Lake is surrounded by evergreens with pine trees which is swallow, clean water and white sandy beaches formatted Myeongsasimni(明沙十里). Especially it is one of the best for sea bathing place where the white sand has smooth and no insects or ants.

在广阔的湖水周围，郁郁苍苍的松林就像屏风般围绕的花津浦湖，水浅、水光清澈且洁白，白沙场形成闻名的明沙十里。白沙感触特别柔软，没有蚂蚁等昆虫类，是非常舒适的海水浴场。因为如此秀丽的自然风光，花津浦湖周围自古以来有很多著名的别墅。

Hwajinpo Lake is the largest lagoon near the East Sea, and has many ancient artifacts around it, because of its excellent scenery, Hwajinpo-castle in Kim Il-Seong of North Korea, South Korean president Lee Seung-Man, and vice president Ki-Boong’s summer houses remain here.
Also, Hwajinpo Lake is an important place for migratory birds and swans in the winter. 

现在还遗留着李承晚首任总统别墅与李起鹏前副总统别墅、北韩的金日成别墅-花津浦之城。花津浦湖同时也是著名的候鸟渡来地。每到秋冬，可以看到天鹅与绿头鸭等候鸟成群飞来，在广阔的湖水上空悠闲玩耍的情景。
