Gangwon-do Provincial Botanical Garden is the public arboretum having the nine gardens with the different themes, such as Banbi Botanical Garden, Rock Garden, Topiary Garden, and etc. It has 1,653 species and 100,000 plants, and 20 endangered plants species designated by Ministry of Environment. It is the priceless green space to enjoy the forest recreation in the city for preserving the beautiful and valuable nature. There is Forest Museum having five exhibition halls, the theater, the four-dimensional theatre and the laboratory of plant genetic resource. You can enjoy taking a therapeutic walk in the forest and get an knowledge of forestry and various plant resources.

江原道立花木园是江原道运营的公立树木园，由Banbee植物园、岩园、植园等9个主题园组成。拥有1,653种10万多本的植物与环境部指定的20种绝种危机植物。将自然作为美丽珍贵的资源并保存作为目的而建立的江原道立花木园，是可以享受城市里的山林休养的珍贵的绿色空间。花木园内有山林博物馆，由5个展示室、影像室、4D立体电影院与植物遗传资源研究室组成，作为珍贵的自然体验学习空间使用。顺着建设好的散步路享受森林浴，也可以积累各种植物资源与林业相关的知识。
