The Hoeamsaji museum was constructed in Yangju city in order to store, experiment and display; it also has the role to educate visitors about the remnants discovered since 1997. Hoeamsa Temple, a royal temple from later Goryeo and early Joseon, has high value as a historic site. In the museum, there are exhibitions being displayed after going through discoveries and studies. The popular properties of the museum are Tosu, Yongdu, Japsang and other materials used for early architecture. There are also porcelain items and Buddhist drawings made for the royal family. These artifacts are said to have a significant role in understanding our culture and art.

桧岩寺址博物馆是杨州市于1997年开始，为了将发掘并调查的遗物加以保管·研究·展示·教育而建立的专门博物馆。桧岩寺是高丽末期到朝鲜初期为止最大的王室寺庙，是该价值非常高的地方。桧岩寺址博物馆以通过发掘调查出土的遗物为中心，通过常设展示与特别展示，展示着众多珍藏品。代表性珍藏品包括瓦兽、龙头、杂像等瓷瓦类，还有为了王室制作的陶瓷器类、青铜金柝与桧岩寺佛画等。这些珍藏品对理解韩国王室文化与佛教美术文化方面具有非常重要的价值。
