DMZ, where the past and present coexist, gets us to think of our long history. The border area houses eight UNESCO Cultural Heritage Sites, including the Goyang Seosamneung Royal Tomb that encompasses the Placenta Chamber of a royal family of the Joseon Dynasty. Enjoy a journey back in time beyond prehistoric times, through the Yeoncheon Jeongok-ri relics with Acheulean stone ware from the Old Stone Age, Yangju Daemosanseong Fortress with the fortress wall styles from the Three Kingdoms Period, Ganghwa Deokjinjin Fort that defended Ganghwa Channel in the Goryeo period, Goyang Haengjusanseong Fortress where the people joined the defense of the country against the Japanese invasion, and the old town relics of Cheorwon that show the locals’ agony during the Japanese colonial rule of the country.

过去与现在共存的DMZ，感受我们悠久的历史。在接境地区包括UNESCO世界文化遗产同时聚集朝鲜王朝的胎室的高阳西三陵，有着八个UNESCO世界文化遗产。保存着旧石器的阿舍利石器的涟川全谷里遗迹开始，到可以观赏三国时代城墙的样式的杨州大雌山城、高丽时代守护江华海峡的江华德津镇、壬辰倭乱当时百姓齐心合力守护的高阳幸州山城、蕴含着日帝强占期的痛苦的铁原九种遗迹，超越先史时代，开始在这片土地上流逝的时间旅行
