In winter, the whole world is covered with snow and ice. Sancheoneo Ice Festival of Hwacheon that is famous for one of the top four winter festivals in the world opens on January. It was selected as the representative festival in 2014, and more than 100 million people visited for six years. In the coldest month, January, Hwacheon Stream where the thickest ice is first observed in Korea every year, people enjoy fishing a trout swimming in the crystal-clear water under the more than 40cm thick ice.

整个世界被冰雪笼罩的寒冬。被指为世界四大冬天庆典的冰之国-华川山泉鱼庆典，在每年1月份华丽开幕。2014年被选定为大韩民国代表性庆典的山泉鱼庆典成为连续六年踏访100万名访客的韩国代表性冬天庆典。在被称为最冷的1月寒冬，溪谷的寒风与清水相遇，在全国最快、最厚地结冰的华川河，40c米厚度的冰块到河底之间清水中，开始山泉鱼钓鱼。

在北汉江最上流的一等级水流淌的清净地华川河，很多人享受山泉鱼钓鱼的情景本身就很壮观。不仅是男女老少都可以轻松学到的山泉鱼冰钓，还可以享受跳入冰凉的河里空手捕捉山泉鱼的空手捕捉山泉鱼。庆典期间还运营冰橇广场，很适合家族的冬季娱乐。
