The Bloody Ridge, located in the north of Wolun-ri, is where fierce battle from August 18 to September 7, 1951. The number of the canons used in combat reaches up to 200,000 shots. The U.S and the Korean army lost lives about the number of a camp, while North Korean army lost that of a squad. It was indeed a big battle, appropriate to be called ‘bloody ridge’. Our side took victory, and the North Korean army retreated to the north side of the Punch bowl. The Korean-American groups, by winning the bloody ridge, were able to secure the road between Baekseoksan Mountain and Daewoosan Mountain. The monument of the Bloody ridge was formed in November of 1980, and it commends the sacrifice of heroes who fought with the stake of their lives.

血的棱线是东面月云里北侧的棱线，1951年8月18日开始到9月7日为止，展开激烈战斗的地区，当时使用的炮弹数量为大约20万发。在该战斗，国军与美军发生1个联队规模的死伤者，而北韩军发生1个师团规模以上的损失。当真是名副其实的‘血的棱线’，是大规模激战的地方。该战斗结果，我方胜利，而北韩军退到Punch Bowl北侧棱线，韩美两军掌握血的棱线，由此确保了百石山与大愚山之间的侧面公路。连接到血的棱线的杨口郡东面月云水库旁血的棱线战绩碑是1980年11月建立而成，一方面纪念战斗胜利，另一方面纪念着用生命保卫祖国的护国英灵的灵魂。
