Enjoy exhilarating ice climbing on the artificial waterfall, small but the very beautiful mountain
在人工瀑布享受的充满刺激的冰壁攀登，小巧而绝美的山
Ttansan Mountain is a hill located in the entrance of Paroho Lake and Peace Dam. It got the interesting name, Ttansan, because it seems a lonely mountain floating alone on the waterfront. There are two folk tales about Ttansan Mountain. First, once upon a time, a rock from Ulsan traveled to become one of 12,000 peaks in Mt.Guemgangsan, but it heard that all peaks were already taken and decided to stay in Ueoryongdong. Second, but to the contrary, it floated down from Mt. Gemgang to Ueoryongdong. Then, the monk from Mt.Geumgangsan got a fee to see it, a boy of wit and intelligence said that he had paid enough for long time, now the monk should take it back, otherwise, he would like to receive a storage fee. So, the monk could not help going back to Mt. Gemgangsan.
甜山是坐落在破虏湖与和平水库进入口的小乐园。因为是就像在河边浮起，独立的山，而得到‘甜山’这一有趣的名称。甜山相传有两个故事。第一个故事是古代蔚山的一个岩石想要成为金刚山的山峰，在迁到金刚山的路上，听到金刚山一万两千峰已经凑齐，就留在当地成为‘甜山’。第二个故事却是与此相反。甜山从金刚山浮到这里的鱼龙洞。由此，金刚山的和尚收取去金刚山游玩的费用，一个孩子想出个点子称，“这段期间已经给了足够的观赏费用，你再把甜山拿回去吧。不然，我们要收取保管费用啦。”听完之后，和尚不得以回到金刚山。
It is a small but beautiful mountain. Artificial waterfall falling from the 80 meter tall cliff to escape the midsummer heat and to catch march snails in the crystal-clear stream. The campground operated by Hwacheon County Office has facilities, such as a cafeteria, a drinking fountain, a shower room and a restroom, so the number of visitors is increasing every year. During the winter, people come to do ice climbing and ice fishing because the artificial waterfall is frozen to the giant ice wall. Let’s make an unforgettable memory in Ttansan Mountain in all seasons.
两种故事都与金刚山有着牵连，可以知道虽然甜山较小，但足以炫耀美丽的风景。在80米高的绝壁倾泻而来的人工瀑布，消除盛夏的炎热，还可以在清澈干净的水边捕捉钉螺或享受钓鱼。华川郡建设的甜山露营场，备有卖店、供水台、淋浴室、洗手间等便利设施，每年踏访的家族露营客不断增加。寒冬会云集想要享受冰钓与冰壁攀登的人们。因为甜山的人工瀑布结冰之后，形成巨大的冰壁。在常年让人们赏心悦目的甜山，多留下愉快的回忆吧。
