Famous Mountain in Ganghwado, King Dangun where the God Worshiped in Dignity of Chamseongdan

檀君王俭祭天的堑星坛的威严，江华岛代表性名山 

 
It called Marisan(摩利山) Mountain • Marusan Mountain and Duaksan Mountain(頭嶽山). The Manisan Mountain is altitude 473.1m of highest mountain in Ganghwado. It is located at middle of Baekdusan Mountain of north and Hallasan Mountain of South. At the top of Manisan Mountain, there is Chamseongdan(塹城壇 :Historical Site Num.136). The Chamseongdan was where the king Dangun offered and ritual ceremony to heaven which is written on 『Goryeosa Jiriji; Geography Book』 and『Sejong Silog Jiriji』, and etc.

亦称为摩利山·摩罗山·头岳山的摩尼山，是江华岛最高的山，高度为海拔473.1米。以北是白头山、以南是汉拿山的中间地点，摩尼山到两个山之间的距离相等。摩尼山顶坐落着堑星坛（史迹第136号）。堑星坛在『高丽史地理志』或『世宗实录地理志』、以及其他各种史书或地理志上，记录为檀君王俭祭天的地方。

 
The Chamsungdan has built foundation of with natural stones, column has built in square on it. This structure originated by thought of ‘sky is rounded, and ground is squared shape’.
When the Foundation Day of Korea comes, people do the rite ceremony and on National Sports Festival, they do the torch ceremony participated by Taoist Fairies
When you hike up to top of Manisan Mountain, the view of the Youngjongdo Island, Jangbongdo Island and some other islands around it are very beautiful and is favored by many climbers. Also, In Chamseongdae, there is one pine tree which is natural monument num.502. It looks much outstanding alone on the Chamseong stone column.

堑星坛用天然石为基石呈圆形，其上以方形筑坛。这是天圆地方的思想而来。现在也每到开天节，在堑星坛祭礼，全国体育大会时，举办七仙女为烽火取火的仪式。登上摩尼山顶，永宗岛、长峰岛等周围的岛屿一览无遗的秀丽的景观展现在眼前。而且，堑星坛还有被指定为天然纪念品第502号的一棵鹅耳枥。堑星坛石坛上孑然耸立的景观更加引人注目。
