The primeval forest keeping the nature in raw for long with the rare animals.

在漫长岁月最早保留原来面貌的原始森林，相遇珍贵的动物 

Korea National Arboretum, that is well known as Gwangreung Arboretum, is the repository of the ecosystem as well as the natural space composed of Forest Museum on the 5 million square meters space and 15 special arboretums. Special arboretums has about 2,800 species plants and 8 km long trails. Also, there is Forest Zoo having 15 endangered species, including a Siberian tiger. White-Bellied Woodpecker that is the world’s rare species, and 20 natural monuments, such as a flying squirrel and a Longhorned Beetle.

以光陵树木园更加闻名的国立树木园是在500万㎡面积，包括山林博物馆，是由15个专门树木园组成的自然空间，亦是生态系的宝库。专门树木园有大约2,800多种植物，并已经建设长达8公里的森林浴场。而且在国立树木园内，包括白头山老虎，生活着15种罕见动物的山林动物园。这里栖息着世界罕见的啄木鸟，另外还有飞松鼠、天牛等天然纪念品20多种。

Opening hours are from Tuesday to Saturday, you can gain admittance through an advanced reservation. Especially, Forest Museum allows to view only for six months a year. It remains the nature in the raw for long by this strict management. We have a duty to leave the preserved priceless nature to the next generation.

国立树木园的开放时间是星期二到星期六，只能通过提前预订才能入场。特别是，山林动物园在一年只能观赏六个月。因为如此严格的管理，国立树木园才能在漫长岁月中，保持着自然本身。我们也有将上一代为我们守护的国立树木园的自然传承给后代的义务。

- We accept only 5,000 people a day from Tuesday to Friday, 3,000 people on Saturday and holiday of our opening day, reservations only.
